From Monday, 5 January, Hamilton City Council will begin work on the Comries & Hukanui Roads intersection to install traffic signals, making it safer and easier for everyone to get around.

The intersection will be closed for three weeks while this stage of work is carried out. During this time, traffic management and detours will be in place, and Chartwell Shopping Centre will remain accessible throughout the works.

After three weeks, the intersection will reopen while work continues, helping to keep traffic flowing safely as improvements are completed.
