This Halloween, Chartwell Shopping Centre lit up with spooky-fun energy, as families came together for our Glow-in-the-Dark Disco – a free, family-friendly event designed to give little ghosts, witches, and monsters a safe and exciting place to celebrate.

Held on Thursday 31 October 2025, from 3pm – 5.30pm, Chartwell transformed into a glowing party zone featuring a live DJ, face painting, and high-energy games delivered by the amazing team at Enchanted Entertainment NZ. With colourful lights, upbeat music, and plenty of room to dance, kids were able to let loose and enjoy Halloween in the most spectacular way.

And of course, one of the biggest highlights was a special appearance from Rumi! The singalongs were loud, the dance moves were legendary, and the excitement was off the charts as little fans got the chance to party with their favourite K-Pop Demon Hunters star.

Parents and grandparents shared how much they appreciated having a safe, free, and fun space for their children to celebrate Halloween. With many telling us it was the perfect way to enjoy the afternoon together as a family, without the late-night trick-or-treat chaos.
