The April school holidays were filled with wonder, laughter, and unforgettable family moments as Little Royals Marvellous Magic took over Chartwell Shopping Centre.

Running daily from Monday 6 April to Sunday 19 April 2026, this free school holiday activation transformed Centre Court into a hub of excitement, where children and grown-ups alike gathered to experience the magic of internationally acclaimed entertainer Andy Kean.

Each day featured three high-energy 40-minute magic shows, with every performance drawing enthusiastic crowds throughout the two-week activation. Packed with laughter, audience participation and mind-bending illusions, the shows consistently captivated children and adults alike.

Alongside the live performances, aspiring young magicians had the chance to step behind the curtain and learn a trick of their own at the twice-daily Learn a Trick Workshops. Each attendee received a magic prop to take home, so they could practise on family and friends. For many, it was their very first taste of performing magic, and judging by the smiles, it certainly won’t be their last!

Adding even more surprise and delight to the experience, Andy also performed roaming magic throughout the centre, creating spontaneous moments of joy for shoppers during their visit.
