Families Hit a Hole-in-One with Mini Golf
During the September school holidays, families swapped screens for swing time at Little Royals Mini Golf – a free, fun-filled activation that turned Chartwell Shopping Centre into the ultimate mini golf destination.
From Monday 22 September to Friday 3 October 2025, a space near the food court was completely transformed into a colourful 12-hole mini golf course, inviting kids (and plenty of adults!) to test their skills, enjoy some friendly competition, and share lots of laughs along the way.
Delivered in partnership with Robin de Goeij from Differenz, Little Royals Mini Golf brought high-energy, family-friendly fun back to the Centre once again. The course offered just the right mix of challenge and silliness, making it a hit with first-timers and mini golf pros alike.
Parents and grandparents told us they loved having a free, easy, and entertaining activity to enjoy together during the holidays. For many, it became a go-to stop for a morning outing, an after-lunch adventure, or a way to fill that classic “we’re bored!” moment with something memorable.
Chartwell Marketing Manager Linda Jackson summed it up perfectly:
“It’s fun, it’s free, and it’s a simple way for parents and grandparents to enjoy time together with the kids during the holidays. It’s another example of how we’re working to be a destination that brings the community together, not just for shopping, but for play and connection.”
At Chartwell, we’re proud to offer interactive, family-focused holiday activities that create moments of joy for our community, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a round (or two!) of mini golf.
If you missed this one, don’t worry, there’s always something exciting happening soon!
