Two deserving dads have received a little extra care this Father’s Day after winning Chartwell’s Retail Fatigue Recovery Giveaway, with each taking home a $500 Chartwell Gift Card to put towards some well-earned recovery.

The giveaway formed part of Chartwell’s Retail Fatigue Recovery Centre activation, which returned to Centre Court in the lead-up to Father’s Day. The tongue-in-cheek activation gave tired shopping companions somewhere to sit, play, read and recover, with air hockey, darts, table tennis, comfy seating and reading material on offer.

To enter the giveaway, shoppers were asked to share what had their chosen recipient in need of a $500 recovery prescription, with entries made at the Recovery Centre receiving a bonus entry into the draw.

The response from our community was a wonderful reminder of how much dads do for the people around them.

Aussanee nominated her husband, simply sharing that he “deserves a special treat as a perfect Father’s Day gift.”

Kitty nominated her husband for always putting everyone else first. Her heartfelt entry shared that he is “always the one looking after everyone else and rarely thinks about himself”, describing him as her rock, best friend and an amazing husband and Dad. She said a recovery prescription would give him something he probably wouldn’t give himself: “permission to stop, recharge and be cared for.”

A huge congratulations to Aussanee and Kitty’s husbands, and thank you to everyone who entered and shared the stories of the incredible dads, husbands and father figures in your lives. We were touched by the heartfelt nominations and loved celebrating the people who do so much for their families every day.
